About
In case you are wondering what the BME in BME StudioZ is, it is my initials. Over time, it also came to stand for BrandMan Entertainment.
I started making games on 12/10/04. The site was formed on 11/11/05. I had just got a new computer in August 04, so I was very new to computers.
I found the MegaMan Homepage, and I liked it a lot. I was searching through the links, (Which now my site is on.) and I found Damaged Games. I tried his games. I was amazed that games could be made so good for free. I looked how old the owner was, and I was surprised to see he was in only in his early 20's. So I found out it was made with a program called Game Maker. I tried it out, and after a while, I got the hang of it.
I made a couple really simple games at first, which none of them were too good. So then, I practiced a bit, and got a bit better. Then, I tried making a big project called GravityMan. It would be like MegaMan but starring GravityMan and you could walk on the ceiling. I kept trying to avoid cancelling it, but my hopes were crushed when I figured out how hard it was to make a boss. So then, I started a simpler project. And that was Fliptop Frenzy. It took me a day to make, but it was fun.
Afterward, I kept the idea of making games starring MegaMan's partners, so I made Beat: Bird Bodyguard. At first, it was going to be much more complex, but do to problems, I kept it simple. The game engine was set up in a couple weeks, but the problem was how boring it was to set up all those enemies. So I procrastinated, and during this project, I made Fliptop Frenzy 2, a two-player version of the original game. Finally, Beat: Bird Bodyguard was done in a shockingly long 7 months. So then, I started making new projects.
During this time, I made Auto's Workshop, Tango Targets, and Sakugarne Mini-Games. The thing with Sakugarne Mini-Games was I was going to make a much cooler adventure game called Sakugarne Tresure Adventure (I'll let you guess how it worked), but was corrupted by a music file I used given by Danno10398, all though it wasn't his fault. As mad as I was, I forgave him and started a new game with Sakugarne, which was short and was only done to help finish the series.
Then came MegaDogs. At first, MegaDogs looked like my biggest project. But sadly, I just got bored of it. So, I finished it with only 3 levels total. It had to end, it was a year almost.
During this time, I made a few miscellaneous games, Stacker, FlatMan, and Beatmania Sound Studio. Also around this time I helped Danno make his Bashu game which is now a part of BME StudioZ.
The biggest part about this time was MegaMan Party. MegaMan Party was the best game I made at the time, at least, creativity wise. The idea originated as a Wario Ware Inc. game starring MegaMan, but I changed it around a bit. Since then there have been 2 sequels. I also updated Beatmania Sound Studio to V2.
I am now recreating Sakugarne Treasure Adventure, over several breaks. I've also got into web languages, server management, as well as many other things. I have bit of unreleased content, which I will attempt to release in the near future, as I'm trying to clean this place up. Well, thanks for reading!
